Albany lemon fighting cocks battle cross is one of the best and winning game fowl crosses today.  Some of the traits and characteristics of albany game fowl are mostly they are light red with black breast streaked with ginger color, mostly yellow legged and pea combed.  Albany game fowl has amazing cutting ability, and possessing gameness.  Albany is one of hard hitting game fowl and counter attacker that is why they are good to be cross breed with the lemon game fowl.

The lemon game fowl on the other hand, was originated by the legendary Duke Hulsey and breed by some local game fowl breeders in the Philippines like the legendary Sir Paeng Araneta  who created sub families of lemon like the famous lemon 84.  The lemon 84 has become the base used by most Bacolod breeders in Negros  that until t now consistently wins even against modern game fowl.  Originally the lemon 84 was sired from the Hatch-Butcher-Claret blends of the late Duke Hulsey.  Some of the characteristics lemon 84 comes lemon hackled, peacombed or straight-combed and yellow and green-legged and pumpkin feathered.  A medium stationed gamefowl known for its smart fighting style, an offbeat sense of timing that catches its opponent with powerful single stroke killing hits.  It is a vertical flyer, is known to sidestep and counterattack. Although lemon 84 lacks gameness but when cross breed with albany game fowl will produced the best battle cross. Aside from cross breeding lemon to albany, it is also good to be cross breed with  kelso,  and sweater game fowl.

As far as I know, one of the local breeders in the Philippines that breed albany game fowl is the legendary Mamie Lacson of Circle L game farm, the farm is presently mange by his son Sir Joey. On the other hand, one of the local game fowl breeders who breed Hulsey lemon is Sir Eddie Boy Ledesma of Fire and Ice game farm.
